SONG: Two O’Clock in the Tenement by Doctor Salamander

TWO O’CLOCK IN THE TENEMENT performed by DOCTOR SALAMANDER

From the Full Length album “The Forbidden Mansion of Doctor Salamander”

LYRICS
Here we are, Number 227, all the tenants are behind in their rent.
We got no water anymore. No heat! The Bebi is bit by rats
You no fix pipes, you no fix anything

The soft throbbing of the Jurassic drum inside the unpainted door
Husky words never heard in the softly native

I can still smell it and my cheek feels burned
South of the mansion tenement
You’re such a baby, take these aspirin
That blasted drum is driving me out of my obey

Rotting broken stairs, the door is open,
Shrinking idling behind the pipes beneath the sink

Forget about that mink coat and limousine
I’ll need every nickel to repair the candles
