SONG: Janice by Hex Nebula

JANICE performed by HEX NEBULA

From the Full Length album “The Pink Hole”

LYRICS
Breeze creeps thru suburbia. Last night I couldn’t dream. You know it sure is confusing to figure you, Janice (psyche evals are not my scene). My army jacket is covered in paint. I spilled mescal on my feet and I miss my library of Ulysses and my orange candle air.

Janice take off your shirt. Let’s dig our selves into dirt. Oh you’re a puzzle chaser. Won’t you bend for a massage?

Come on down to the Other End and I will buy you a basket of chips. We’ll laugh and toast to the freak house and pound our fists to acoustic fits. Let’s have a round for these freaks and students, a round for the Tombstone Teeth, another round for desire that lurks in pajamas in this town.

Janice, take off your shirt. Let’s dig our selves into dirt. Oh you’re a puzzle chaser. Won’t you bend for a massage?

Maybe we’ll go to Madison, maybe we’ll go to Newark. Pause across the museum rotunda…the Tibetan section is sharp. Let’s not fret about the circle of life. The collages are hung so well. Silent films, curator footsteps, mandalas crush our bones.

Janice, take off your shirt. Let’s dig our selves into dirt. Oh you’re a puzzle chaser. Won’t you bend for a massage?
Janice, take off your shirt. Let’s dig our selves into gold. Oh you’re a puzzle chaser.
Behold! I will drive home cold.
